This is a great meal for camp in the fall. It is easely made at home and frozen.

WRANGLER STEW

1 ½ lbs lean ground beef, fried & drained
2 onions, chopped
1 28oz. can tomatoes chopped
2 cups water
3 cans beef comsommé
1 large can of tomatoe soup
1 cup carrot, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 bay leaf
1 tblp. parsley
½ tsp. thyme
pepper to taste
8-10 tbsp. pearl barley

Brown meat & drain, combine all ingredients & simmer 2 hours,covered.

Serves 10.
Freezes well.

Serve with crusty bread
